As an International Business major, you’ll have the chance to study or intern abroad, applying your language skills and learning how business works in an international context. Closer to home, you’ll take classes that engage you with active learning, and you’ll have the opportunity to intern at an international organization based in Austin.

Experiential Education

In Social Responsibility of Business, you’ll participate in a service activity in the community and write a paper about the experience. You’ll also work in a team to create a new product or service for a company that will meet a social need for an underserved community.

In Organizational Behavior and Leading Teams, students work in teams to analyze an organization, seeing organizational behavior come alive. Students recently worked with Keweenaw Mountain Lodge, a wilderness resort in Michigan, and with Austin businesses and nonprofits.
